A taxi ride from Porto Airport to Porto city centre takes no more than 30 minutes.

Please note that taxi turns to be the most convenient and fastest mean of transportation to the city centre, rather than metro too.

Taxis in Oporto are beige and black with the green roof, and they are equipped with taximeter.

Fares

The trip to the city centre costs around 25-30€, always depending on traffic and destination.

Fares are properly displayed on the back left window of the vehicle. They are fixed.

Rates are a 20% higher on the evening (from 09:00 pm to 06:00 am), also applied on weekends (Saturday, Sunday and public holidays).

On the other hand, there’s also a surcharge for extra baggage (in case of carrying large baggage).

RIDESHARING SERVICES

Uber is authorized to work in Porto Airport facilities. Passengers that want to use that service need to book through their applications.

There’s a rate of about 20-25 euros approximately from the airport to Porto city centre.
